Velur Spa in Tirana promised a rejuvenating experience with a gift voucher for a full body and facial treatment, but my visit left much to be desired.
Location and Ambience: 6/10
Nestled in a convenient location, Velur Spa boasts a tranquil atmosphere, offering a blend of traditional spa elements with modern comforts. However, the overall experience was marred by rushed treatments and a lack of communication regarding closing times, which impacted the overall ambiance negatively.
Service: 5/10
While the staff at Velur Spa was friendly, the service fell short of expectations. Despite booking in advance, the staff seemed unprepared and rushed, leading to a hurried and unsatisfactory experience. The lack of communication regarding the duration of treatments and the closing time of the spa was particularly disappointing.
Treatments: 4/10
The treatments at Velur Spa were a mixed bag. While the hammam experience was relaxing and enjoyable, the rest of the treatments felt rushed and incomplete. The facial treatment, in particular, was subpar, with the staff member being uninformed about the included services and pushing for additional paid options unnecessarily.
Hairdressing: 3/10
The hairdressing service was a major letdown. Despite mentioning a recent treatment at another salon, the hairdresser was dismissive and blamed my hair for being dry, showing a lack of professionalism and competence.
Overall Experience: 4/10
My visit to Velur Spa was disappointing, marred by rushed treatments, unprofessionalism, and additional charges for services already included in my prepaid package. While the spa offers a range of treatments in a convenient location, the overall experience fell short of expectations.
